Bore guide?
« on: May 12, 2011, 09:47:12 AM »
Howdy
Do any of you use a bore guide during cleaning?  Is it hype or does it really help from ruining a barrel?  Just curious.
Thanks

I use them on all my rifles. It helps me line up the rod and not hang up a jag or anything along the way. I have two that fit all my rifles.

I do.  I can't remeber the brand, but it's a black plastic with yellow bolt handle cheapie.  It does it's job.
