Other photos from this weekend
« on: June 02, 2008, 07:27:43 PM »
After we finished fishing and helping my dad do some clean-up on his piece of property, we hit the refuge down there looking to take some pictures. All you can do is drive the road through it, so I was armed with my camera and 80-400 VR lens, and Becca was armed with my binos. Only managed to see a couple deer, a couple racoons that were too quick, and a bunch of ducks. It was getting dark when we saw the deer, so the pics didn't turn out the best. I was just handholding because the tripod was buried in the truck.

Whitetail Doe

Buck sporting some new growth

Some flowers (might actually be weeds...i don't know) that are pretty abundant on the refuge.

Becca checking out some elusive MooCows on the refuge...

I like the last photo...   ;)

The third photo is good too.  What camera do you shoot with?  The colors are nice.

In all the times I've been thru there Ive never seen one of those CRWT deer. Nice color to them.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.
