Columbia Water Levels
« on: May 17, 2011, 10:10:44 AM »
Heard the levels below Bonny are getting supper high due and fast due to the winter snow melt on the east side.  Anyone live that way that can confirm the amount of debris and water levels?    I cannot find the web site I used previously...  Thanks

35.11 is high flood and now it is close to 30 and rising- answers my question perfectly....  Thanks Allen.

If folks are heading for the Springers and sturgeon, be careful of fast high water and debris- it will be everywhere.  Practice good anchoring and keep an eye open for trees and large branches coming down river.  I know I am not going so good luck to all..  I have had my previous fun in fast moving, large weight required water...   :bash: :bash:

I drove by Sunday, while it was pouring, down by Cascade Locks and the river looked pretty high and fast!!

We're back down under 200,000 cfs today.  Lots of debris and dark dirty water.  The chinook numbers were just starting to get good when this hit.

Have a lot of debris here in the tricities. Seems to be tapering off a bit (debris not water level) as today looked a little better than the last couple of days. Still a lot of dangerous water out there.
