Does anyone have a tip or two to offer as to how one might get a fox into a cage trap??

Trapped alot of fox as a kid and cant say you will ever get a fox in a live trap ... they do not like going in places where they are confined. I always had to make set out in the open to catch them...so I think it may be a tough one !

Kinda like yotes, I bet they would be hard to catch in a live trap.

Here are some cage trapping video of grey fox.  Not sure what the bait is or if it would work on reds.

I know they catch tons of gray fox in cage traps.  But I don't have any tips for you.

Thanks for the comments.

Drift fence is made out of plastic now days, can be orange or green, about 2 or 3 feet tall and can be used to "funnel" an animal in a direction desired...ie...toward a trap.

Is there evwn a big enough population of reds or greys in WA for it to even be worthwhile?
