Stuck a few spring salmon!
« on: May 28, 2011, 05:42:10 PM »
Well I got out and was able to go fishing with my cuzz. Went out in the eve of the 24th and my cousin mikey caught one. On the morning of the 25th, I caught one and his dad caught one. That night mikey caught another one. Then in the morning on the 26th, I caught one and mikey caught one. Here is the pic's of my fish and mikeys fathers. Then the pic of my super jack  Tasty! we ate the jack last night :IBCOOL: Got to love some tasty salmon  6 fish in 4 trips, not to bad for late season salmon fishing. Hope to maybe get a couple more trips in before they all leave. The morning was sick! on the 26th! mikey got out first and within 1 minute he had a fish on, but it got off. I threw out and within 30 sec's bam! fish on! got that one. Then mikey threw back out and within 30 sec's bam! fish on. 3 casts and 3 fish on 2 in the boat. Then some a holes came rippin over after seeing us hit the fish and went right over the top of the fish and moved the fish out and we didn't get another bite for the next 2hrs before we had to leave for work.

That's a hog of a springer  Most around here are 10-15 pounds. When we fished lower this year by st.helens we were picking up some 20+ pound fish and they were toad's! dam numbers jumed up last 2 days again. Need to be fishing :bash:
