Congrats!! Was the rest of your slam quest self-guided as well?

Thanks for all the words of encouragement. I'll be sure to keep this thread updated through out my scouting and the hunt.
I'm still amazed at having drawn a desert tag even though I apply religiously in all states and enter every sheep raffle I can find. To say I'm excited is such an understatement!
The people who know me say I'm lucky and I suppose I am looking at the last 10-15 years, but as Ramslam hinted, I am very passionate about the conservation of our wild sheep and try to be involved all I can.
I have had the awesome experience of having three other bighorn tags before this desert tag and have hunted each with family and friends. Saying self guided is kinda untrue as lots of different people have helped me be successful in my sheep hunting carrier even though some have never stepped on the mountain with me. I know this tag(adventure) wont be any different and I just cant wait.

Congrats on the tag! I hear that area is pretty rugged country. But I'm sure you're already in sheep shape ;). Hope many points did it take you to draw that tag? I'm setting on 9 so I'm sure it will be a while for me. Look forward to hearing/reading about your hunt.

Congrats to you.  Sounds like you are very deserving of a great tag to fulfill the ultimate quest for a slam... Got any pics of your bighorn, dall and stone???
