Man...I hate you!

Well not really, just kind of.
Congrats on a great sheep hunting adventure and we look forward to the next one.

Beautiful rams! Although I don't hate you, I am a little jealous. The season dates run in late November don't they? Good luck Bryan! I know you will make us Washingtonians proud.

I finally found a few pics of my 06 ram I took here in WA. I had a great time on the hunt trying to close the distance with my bow but I had to resort to the rifle on the last day I had to hunt. It was OK I didn't kill the biggest ram I had seen because I was able to share the moment with my wife and six year old daughter.

When referring to the "grand slam of sheep" it consists of the 4 varieties of North American Wild Sheep. Dall, Stone/Fannin, Bighorn(rocky  mountain or California), and a Desert Bighorn(any of the several varieties). Some people break the sheep varieties even more by counting the Cali and rocky as different(which they are in my opinion), the stone and fannin as different subspecies and then the different desert sheep( at least 3 I can think of). Add the rocky mountain goat in and some call it the "high 5" of N.A.

Sorry I have to go to mounted pictures or the next rams as they were taken in 1997 and 1998, and I don't have any pics scanned yet.
The first ram I ever killed was the Cali from Clemens Mountain. He is the upper bighorn.
The life sized bighorn is a ram I killed in Oregon the very next year. What a time my cousin and I had on that hunt. I killed him 10-11 miles back in the Eagle Cap Wilderness and with 95 degree weather we hiked him all the way out that first day then had to hike back in the next to retrieve the camp. I was all smiles every step!
