Montana gopher hunt
« on: June 06, 2011, 05:42:13 PM »
I just got back from my annual gopher shoot, it was my best kill totals yet. Sat I conservatively killed 351. The young of the year were up and made for small targets. Sundays total was 201. My weapons of choice were Ruger 7717 with Leupold 4-14, Kimber 22 mag with Redfield 4-12, and last my Ruger 7722 fireing Rem. 22 Yellowjackets topped by a Leupold 3-9 EFR. Shots were from 10 feet to 2 hundred yards with multiple shot multiple kills. Western Mt.  private land.

I miss living out there that gopher shooting is so much fun, and cheap to do. After a while your fingers get sore from realoading.
