just put the cam out
« on: June 07, 2011, 09:52:57 AM »
i finally got a chance to get into a spot i found this last fall with lots of elk sign. the snow has been taking for ever to leave this area. this sunday i went up as far as i could and got within a mile of the spot, so my buddy and i packed up some salt and camera and started hiking. we finally got in after walking down 2-3feet of snow left on the roads in spots, got the salt dug in and the camera set up. now it is just huury up and wait to see what may come from it.
hopefully the snow keeps other people out for a while.
