Not surprised.... WT are the easiest to kill....
But lets see someone shoot or find a 150 class blacktail buck. They are the hardest deer to hunt period.NWH

the great whitetail vs. muley debate this should last forever.
Try to find a 150 class BT in WA would be the hardest part.... No matter how much you scouted..... And for the WT nut... Have you ever seen them during the rut?? Not the smartest deer in woods would you say.... But what do you think is gonna happen when you only get it once a year for a maybe a few weeks... I'd die trying as well.....

Probably going to turn into a 10 page pissing contest between the whitetail people and the mule deer people. I've never hunted mulies or white tails in the rut but I would take a good mule deer over a good whitetail any day
I know this is a never ending argument, but having hunted both western and eastern wa my opinion is blacktails are tougher to hunt. I think its more a factor of cover vs. what species you are hunting. Cant say I know much about how blacktail scores compare to whitetail/muley scores but I do know I have rarely needed a scope/ binos on the westside compared to the eastside. Ive always had to work to get in close for a clear shot on blacktails.
