Make sure you give us the play by play, if there's is scat on the road you'll know they're moving, good luck can't wait to see a bear down!

saw one bear today but it was while I was driving and it was off into the brush before I could blink. Saw five elk two were bills in velvet, one 4x4 and a 3x3, I stalked them till I was within 100 yards but I'm pretty sure they winded me. Going to figure out wher to go for the evening hunt.

Ended up being tag soup for me :chuckle: it was tough due to the fact that I could not find a area with bear sighn, out of the six total days I hunted that area I only saw three piles of bear scat

Rich I had no idea that hound guys went there, that is prob the reason I have been told that the bears there run like crazy when they see a vehicle.

Rick you did help me out allot with the tips you gave me, Im looking at couple of different spots to hunt this august, I cant wait to call one in with the calls you gave me.
might try to this wensday.

I want to thank everyone for the tips and advice they gave me, made a huge difference in the hunts that  I made this spring
