Guys - was wondering where you all get your weather reports, I was on the net and it states they have a Small Craft advisory, so my trip might be off tomorrow until another day, curious to see if someone was down in those parts today???  Does the Columbia up river of Warren get affected really bad by these conditions? Rather not take the trip to explore with Gas the way it is.  Mike

Did you mean warrenton? I would pay attention to the winds and not the bar. I'm guessing that you are fishing for sturgeon.

I just checked the forecast for this weekend and they are calling for winds from 5-15. The winds usually come up in the afternoon. If it was me I would head down but that is me.
Good luck

I second watching the winds.  The swell doesn't get in past the mouth, but the wind chop can be absolutely brutal in that area.

Exactly, Sturgeon, but didn't know the weather patterns of activities very well here.  Appreciate the information...   Yes it is Warrenton that I meant, see I told you I wasn't familiar with the area...

Talk several times to the Boat Launch Bait store in Warrenton, looks like things have mellowed out drastically.... Since this morning...  Time to run for some more fun.  Huntnphool and company, I haven't a clue where ship wreck is, but I'll be some where on the Northern edges of the Desomona Sands.....   Hopefully not on top of them!!!!!!
