Mathews Q2. I think it's a very forgiving bow. I'd really like to try a Hoyt CRX 35.

My first compound bow was a Martin M10 Dynabo.

My firsrt bow was a Bowtech Extreme VFT and i loved it. I traded it to a friend who is still shooting it. He wont get rid of it! its a friggin 03! There are way better bows out now but he just wont give it up. I now have a 08 Bowtech Gaurdian. Other than being a bit heavy this bow is it for me! 28.5 draw length set at 65 lbs. Love this bow. Super easy to draw and hold. Smooth shooter and quiet!

98' PSE Dakota. Suprisingly fast, never once has gotten out of tune and is exceptionally quiet. Great hunting bow. 40" axle to axle and I shoot fingers.

I really like my Mathews Q2 also.  I may upgrade in a few years, when I can pick up a used Z7 for $400-$500.

I've had great success with my Martin Cougar II.  Yea I know it is old but it is still trustworthy and works for me

I agree, I shoot a mid 90's cougar set at 74#, finger shooter, with a whisker biscuit and a 465 gr arrow and it shoots sweet. infact I was shooting with my buddy on saturday with his fancy complicated 2 year old speed bow with probably 375gr arrows. and we were both shooting good. we decided to campare arrow flight so we shot at the same time and though he had a flatter trajectory, his arrows lost alot of momentum from say 30 yards and further and at longer distances my arrow actually reached the target first.

Q2XL......wish I still had it.  As for the 3 Mathews and 1 Martin I still own, easiest, most forgiving , best shooting......Mathews Icon.   DO I hunt with it?, no.  I still wish I had the Q2XL....

I had a Switchback and liked it but I like my Z7 better.  So, I guess Z7 is my answer.

I really like my Quest Primal. Sharp looking bow and it is very smooth. Fits me well and I am much more consistent with it then my previous bows.
