Adding legs to my jigs
« on: June 13, 2011, 09:26:51 PM »
I started tying legs on to my jigs.  Do you do this?  Does it make a difference?

I think so.

I tie legs on my fly patterns for steelhead and bass. I think the extra movement makes a difference at times

Never have. Might be killer on summer run patterns. Got any pics?

For summer runs in dark patterns( black, olive, browns ) I would say it would work awesome....I use mostly shrimp patterns for winters but i wouldn't go as far as saying adding legs to pinks, orange, or purple would not work......I say go for it and the worst that could happen is you have a great day fishing and relaxing.
I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian

I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with "Guess" on it...so I said "Implants?"
