Exactly the reason why some of us take the position we do with these requests at the beginning... and not whoring out information for free and then getting butt hurt (again) when someone doesn't stick around. 
Or what gets to me even more is people who ask and get lots of replies and not so much as a "thanks guys" simply rude, but I guess in the new society we live in manners are unimportant
