I have an archery bull tag for the mudflow this year. Cant wait to get some time off to do some scouting there next week. Pretty pumped for the hunt amd hoping to see somepictures of bulls that have come from there. From what I have heard, it sounds like a lot of 5 points and not a ton of huge bulls. I am sure its going to be awesome!

had the cow tag archery last year. like you said seen lots of 4s and 5s . i did see some nice bulls .if you end up on the back side of the unit look at the hill side on the east side of casthle lake.seen so meany elk it was like looking at a feed station. good luck.

Right on congrats on your tag.  Hope you fill it out, which I'm sure you will.

Just to be clear, isn't the hills East of Castle Lk outside the boundary?

Hers a 5 I killed in 94, first year I applied, Toutle. BAR 270 Wby Mag. Damn I'm gettin old...grin
