One last long ride
« on: June 26, 2011, 09:05:20 AM »
We lost our golden, Buck last Tuesday. Buck was the only male out of nine pups so Buck fit real good. My good friends sold all the females and then handed me this white furball almost nine years ago. I was lucky enough to take Buck to work with me every day. He was a truck dog, always in the pickup even if we were at home. No crate, kennel, or leash, he would sit or walk calmly by my side until we hit the woods. I never knew losing a dog would be so hard! Yesterday it finally hit home as I was a mess. I guess I'm typing out my feelings.
Buck past at home in my arms, one hard seizure took Buck from this world in a matter of minutes. I wrapped him up in his favorite carhart coat that he slept on since he was a pup, and loaded him up in the rhino for one last long ride to the top of our mountain. I really miss my old white faced boy!
See you soon boogie. We love you Buck!
                Thanks for listening, Brandon

My thought's are with you and Buck, Brandon
...  I'm sure you have years of fond memories.
I've been in your shoe's and it's tough to loose a family member. We never have them long enough.
I have found that puppy breath helps.

Sorry you lost your friend, Buck. I know it's hard.

lost my bestfriend in my arms also.  took 9 years to get another one.  they are family and the best thing is they never complain, always by your side, and show 100 percent loyalty.  i wish you and your family the best.
