oil tag purchase
« on: June 28, 2011, 09:48:12 PM »
Has any of the oil tag holders been able to pay for your tag?  Checked my wild id profile and it is not an option yet.

Just need to get my hands on that goat rocks tag so I know it is really going to happen.

Best thing you could do is call the fish and game and ask them

When I drew Goat Rocks the minute my postcard came in the mail I ran straight to Olympia and Bought my tag. Not long after that they tried to sell me another one. They told me if I didnt buy it it was going to an alternate. I had to go back up and actually show them the tag before they would believe me that I already had one. They had no record of the OIL tags that had been sold from thier office that year. I could of had two goat tag's that year. Congrats on the tag, that is a super fun hunt, let me know if you need any info. I would be glad to help. I burned up a lot of boot leather scouting that area.

I called fish and game the other day cause I hadn't seen or heard anything from them either and they told me they were still putting the packets together and that when you got them they would have instructions in them for what to do. Still makes me nervous too!

It takes a little while for Olympia to get things straightened out.  Seems like it was at least Mid July last year before I could purchase my moose tag.

Got my postcard yesterday to purchase the tag. You have until Aug 5 to send the money to Olympia for your tag.
