Wolf seen in area 437 ..
« on: October 17, 2012, 12:34:50 PM »
It has been a wild morning today ...seen a few doe and then my buddy calls me just freaking out about a wolf he seen ...He said he was coming down the road in the Sauk unit when all the sudden a huge lookin dog jumps out into the road ...He said it took a minute to register what he was really lookin at .. He said it took up half the road and stood about 2 and half ft at the back and was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen  :yike: :dunno: He then told me it had one hell of a fluffy tail ...Now last year another friend of mine told me he seen a set of tracks that were huge and looked like a monster dog track and the one seen this morning was within 2 miles of where my other buddy saw tarcks last year in the snow ....I can believe him because he is a serious hunter and has seen wolves in Canada before ...Just thought I would share the info !

They're not going to close roads because there's wolf tracks on them.  If they did that half of Northeast Washington would be a roadless area.

That's probably the only thing up illabot creek, only thing I've seen up there in 15 years is Grouse...

Probably this area, went for a drive up there awhile back seen absolutly nothing but road and brush. Oh and two forest service dudes wasting my tax dollars siting at slide lake trail head making sure sige was still there.
