What kind of gloves do you wear for west side hunting.

Real men don't wear gloves, geeze !  So anyhow I would wear fingerless wool only. As for the eastside, same.

Best gloves I have found for early archery are the under armour gloves, keeps the bugs off your hands and they are very breathable and have great feel. I use them all through out hunting season . Not super warm .

When duck hunting and concealment really counts and its cold, I only put face paint on the back of my hands.  Gloves only get in the way,  if your hands get cold stick them in your pockets for a minute.

I hardly ever wear gloves but when I do I just use my leather gloves I use when bucking hay

I'm a fan of thin gloves when it starts to get cold. I usually wear a pair of thin rocky camo gloves with a grippy palm. Kind alike archery gloves.

when it starts getting colder i go for the mukuluks so i can flip off the flingers when need.  I've got two pairs of these, a regular pair, and a 50gram thinsulate pair.....big difference. its gotta be getting close to single digits for the 50 grammers or my hands toast.

I've been still hunting a lot more lately and if I'm going to be glassing a lot i'll bring out the gloves, if not, then I'll be using my coat breast pockets...something i look for whenever buying a new coat now, they are awesome.

For those of you who say whimps where gloves I say you must not hunt in the high country in november or mabey my hands just get cold as a result of cutting timber? But I know that wearing wool gloves allows me to hunt longer and harder than if I didn't have gloves on.  Or mabey iam just a whimp?

I don't wear gloves while hunting on the westside. Idaho in late november is a different story.....

I am just asking a question here maybe some of you don't hunt the same places I do, if I am  glassing and its raining and the wind is blowing 10 to 20 mph and 40 degrees the back of my hands get cold.

You don't have to defend yourself to me. You could wear 3 pairs at the same time for all I care. I was merely stating my preference.

sealskinz.  Completely waterproof and thin enough that I feel my 2.5# trigger just fine.
