I had seen two last year up lundimo while out on the snowmobiles. those were the only two I have ever seen in Washington. I have seen quite a few when I lived in Montana.

Scary I was elk hunting by myself on the border of 251 and 328. I didn't realize there were wolves there.

Its kinda scary indeed. When I seen this one I packed my *censored* and left that area, got back to my truck and went and told the 2 ranchers that happened to be outside as I drove by. The one closest to the end of the road said he had lost 2 calves out of his pen and has seen quite a few dead deer on his land. They other rancher had not had any issues yet but took the warning to heart. One of my friends hunts elk up in the Quilomene and I know there is WDFW elk calving areas up in there that are gated off to keep the elk happy. I ride my dirt bike up in there in the spring and summer and have seen hundreds of elk last year. I guess we will see what happens.

Saw a wolf in GMU 328 this past November 2013. Between Reecer and Wilson creek. I reported it to the Fish and Game. There was no question whether or not it was a wolf. It was almost black and I walked over and looked at the tracks in the snow. Without question a wolf. I also heard of a guy that saw several up in Reecer Cr. two weekends ago snowmobiling....Sickening.

Had a co-worker see one on hwy 410 just outside of Greenwater wednesday morning around 1am said its head was as high as his hood on his silverado... Just an FYI i posted several pics in a post from early Feb. about 5 miles from this sighting with a couple sets of fresh BIG dog tracks with no fresh human tracks to be seen, I have no doubt in my mind now that there is if not 1 a pack running around greenwater.

Thanks for the post, could you please provide the GMU and a local drainage or mountain?

Sorry I didnt see this months ago and corrected it  :bash:

My original post about my co-worker and my experience with fresh tracks was in GMU 653, just outside of Greenwater. I had the fresh tracks following mine in the west fork of the white river about 5-6 miles SE of the town of Greenwater.

Was watching a elk herd running down a mt yesterday in the teanaway . Wondered why they would be running only to see a lone wolf running behind them.
Also met a local landowner who says he has seen them alot this winter

A friend saw 2 wolves, 2 weeks ago, about a mile north of Curlew along the river. He saw 1 last winter in the same general area.

( He also saw 5 cougars last week same area north of Curlew.)

Supposedly a wolf sighting near Sun Mountain Tuesday night by long time( Lifetime) resident. Black wolf, without collar, viewed through binos seen by several people. Plan on getting specifics on approximate location prior to setting trail cameras
