Report Wolf Sightings Here - Hunting-Washington Wolf Count 158+

Heared several, probably 4 or 5 , wolves howling just after daylight this morning near the intersection of 3330 and 124 roads in the Manastash unit.  Spoke to several other hunters in the area that also heared them. 

Crazy, I was near there yesterday, small world.

Did you happen to hear them too? 

I didn't, but I was a couple miles south of you.

Right as i was getting into my honey hole this morning had a pack of wolves start howling right on top of me.  Saw no deer.

Saw a lone wolf in gmu 166 off of the 4022 yesterday. Confirmed by my brother who also seen it. We got a good look at it as it was trotting up the hillside across from us. We are 100% positive. It was huge. Way way bigger then a coyote.

Uh, has anyone drove highway 2 today around Baring. My husband and I drove through there this morning and he seen a huge dead grey canine on the north side of the highway. He swears that it looked like a dead wolf. I was looking somewhere else and didn't see it. If anyone is in the area, get a good look at it if it's still there.

I was camped in the first camping site on the left after you cross into national Forest, aboit 75 yds from camp we found some kill sites in early September, old bones that were chewed up and stuff.

It was on the straight stretch about a quarter mile after the store heading east.

Wife and I went to Curlew last Saturday just past the Deer Creek Campground on the west side we had a Large dark animal run across the road and into the waist tall grass.

Could have been a wolf. There's lots of slinky looking young bears around there too.

Perhaps it could have been a bear but it did have the longest tail that I have ever seen on one then.

Well you failed to leave that little nugget of information out of the story, or I wouldn't have suggested a bear

I also neglected the part about the range cattle I could see as well. We have been informed that the Profanity peak wolves have all been removed so I didn't want to be accused of the little boy who cried Wolf.

Saw 4 wolves this weekend down in the blues, first time seeing them in the wild.
