I think these are two different wolves but photos are from two different cameras and the lighting is different. Cameras are about a mile apart.

Saw a single young black wolf trot across Northport-flat creek road about 1/4 mile north of Gilmore road about a month ago

Say a single mature black wolf trotting through the fields between the highway and the river a few miles boat of cusick 2 weeks ago.

Saw a black wolf on the Meadow Creek road off the Tucannon on  Saturday May 6, 2026, near Panjab trailhead.  Crossed the road 40 yards ahead of us and then worked it's way up a mostly open steep hillside, midday in good sunlight, very clear view. 

I corrected the location error in my original post.  I thought we were still on the Tucannon River Road when we saw the wolf but it had to be on the Meadow Creek fork.
