a couple of the kids bucks
« on: June 12, 2008, 09:33:38 PM »
Here are a couple bucks my 2 sons took in Stevens county last year.

Here is a spike buck that my long time hunting partner took last year, Bill is 86 years old, never been married and is one of the last true cowboys in eastern Washington, he rode a horse till he was 84 then had a mild stroke so he can't get on anymore. He ran cattle in the mountains outside of Ellensburg all summer long, we have spent some long days in the saddle together.

He has more hunting stories to tell than I'll ever remember.

Bill shot this buck with a 25 short mag at 286 yards and folded him where he stood.

Very nice...looks like the boys can handle the bow, you got the story, it's always nice to hear a good hunting story.

It's cool to see someone that far up in years still doing what he loves, gives all of us some hope.

Cool....the boys got it done with the bow.  Sounds like Bill can still shoot as well.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
