Average cost to rug a bear
« on: July 20, 2011, 10:30:40 PM »
What is an average price for a good quality bear rug?  I may have an opportunity to score a bear this year.   Been seeing two regularly and have some friends asking me to come up and take two others off of their properties.  I only need one to make a nice display at the end of my bed but concerned about how much I have to save before taking the bear.

Thanks,

T

A friend told me $100.00 per Square foot. Tip of nose to tip of tail. Front paw to front paw. Length times width.

My taxidermist charges $150 per foot, nose to tail.  I've seen others about the same.  There are taxidermists on here that will answer this for you also.
