It's like some have mentioned it wouldn't be so bad if the increases gave back more in return.  It used to be,not too long ago buying a license, tag or stamp was fair. It felt like the money went towards a good cause. Even if you didn't hunt or fish much that year it was still like a good donation towards helping to ensure wildlife for future generations.

Big Tex  Where did you get your info on that?

It was straight from the Director of WDFW's mouth. He appeared on the OutdoorLine Radio show on KJR about a month or so ago and mentioned this in his interview.

And I think the reason license sales are remaining the same or could break an all time record is because of the growing populace.More people from California etc. with the bucks.

Bigtex, if you could change one thing to help improve WDFW, what would it be?

The same guy that claims wildlife viewing brings in way more money then hunting and fishing..... You can tell when he is lying.... his lips are moving. I wouldn't trust that man further then I could throw him. I heard that interview too. I couldn't stop laughing.

People, people, people, think of what you are saying.  They new fees help keep three full time biologists down on the Columbia, working their anti hunter butts off, making sure of the survival of the Oregon Spotted Frog, and the Western Pond turtle.  And because of your generous donations through the purchase of licensee and tags, we were able to GIVE a multi-million dollar fish hatchery to the Yakama Nation.  Now put the bit back in your mouth so they can ride us to greener pastures.

As always Jerry, you have a way of saying things that just makes you stop and go,, damn.... screwed again, and never even got kissed!   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
