Looking for a Composite Stock
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:58:45 PM »
I have a Ruger Mark 11 M77 in 7mm rem mag. It's a left hand. I'm having a hard time finding one. Any help would be nice.

Look at "Lone Wolf Rifle Stocks", outa Montana. i have a my 7mm-08 with their Howler thumbhole, and my 300wsm with their Summit. i really like the summit, lightened my gun alot and feels very good when carrying afield. abit priceeeee but worth it.

Funny ,  Lone Wolf is the stock I am considering on a custom mtn build.  Highly recomended from the people who know shooting is what I have figured out.

Pa Ben,  where did you end up price wise?  You can shoot me a pm if needed.

I see on the Cabela's web site they say long action or short action on the ruger mark 11. How can you tell if it's a long or short action. Also, I'm not looking to break the bank, want a bolt on not a costom.

7 mm rem. mag is a long action while a 7mm-08 is a short action. Length comparison between the cartridge length determines whether short action or long action.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.
