I didn't think it was open for hunting. Is it?

http://www.fws.gov/mcriver/documents/regulations/2010-hanford-reach.pdf

Shotgun, muzzy and archery

Deer, Elk, Snipe, Mourning Dove, Upland Gamebirds and waterfowl are the only species allowed to be hunted.

This is the link for everything all the areas (McNary, Umatilla etc)
http://www.fws.gov/mcriver/regulations.html

It says "Fee" hunting.  Haven't found the fee schedule yet.

A good portion of it burned a few years back. Its pretty flat and open, you could walk all day and might see a deer. look at the harvest reports for that gmu, not good. most of the deer are on the other side of the river on the reservation.

I have fished salmon and sturgon in the reach since 1985 and 99.9% of the deer you see are on the Hanford side of the river. I have seen some real nice bucks on that side of the river almost every year. Very few deer on the open hunting side of the river since the fire.

Yeah if they didn't let everything burn it would be ok. But not worth the time hunted it a few times all the deer are on the otherwise. Some deer were on there but not much anymore.
