In wisconsin fishing
« on: July 30, 2011, 05:36:54 PM »
I fished the st croix river yesterday and caught my limit of walleye and small mouth bass within 2 hours :IBCOOL:.  the walleye limit is 5 and they have to be a minimum 15" in order to keep.  the bass have to be over 14" to keep.  The smallest bass was 2 lbs, and the biggest was 5.5 lbs.  staying here untill august 8th, so I might go hit up lake superior for a day.

Nice job.  I never did fish up in that area when I lived back there.  That 14" size limit on the bass has really upped the size of what you can regularly catch.  Lake WI where my parents are has the same restriction.

Where are the photos??   :chuckle:

"I think I have a fish"
"probably bottom"
"bottom doesn't head shake!"
