7X6 OR 7X7
« on: August 01, 2011, 07:25:22 AM »
Ok we are having a little debate is this guy a 7x7 or a 7x6? Looking at his right side it looks like there is a small nub coming off and with him still in velvet will it continue to grow and will it be big enough to count. We don't have a bull tag in camp this year  :bash: but either way he is a big boy!

Being more prudent than these young bucks who've already posted, I would like to inspect this bull close up before making the call. Please PM me with the coordinates and I will get back to you, oh around September 18th or so.

I'm gonna go with 7x6. My Bull last yr had the same thing in about the same spot & once he sheds the Velvet I doubt it will be big enough to get counted as an official pt.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm can not this be debated after you let me shoot this elk????  who cares, lol... he would be dead in a  heartbeat....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

five point double eyeguard anyone?
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
