New to Washington
« on: August 03, 2011, 08:06:54 PM »
Hello everyone. I just moved to Washington and am looking for some like-minded individuals to start hunting and fishing with. Little about me... I hunt Ducks and Geese, Deer, Turkeys and all small game. While I used to be a purist Fly Fishermen, I have branched out into the gear scene in recent years. Have fished some tourneys, taught fly tying classes, competed in duck calling contests, and the like...
I am a Bow Hunter in the big game arena, and shoot almost daily in my backyard. I have been doing some serious scouting for elk and blacktails in the past two months since I have been here, and have my "spots" for the season nailed down! Hopefully I can let an arrow fly on a nice bull or buck this year!
If anyone wants or is looking for a hunting partner, let me know! I'd love to meet some new people in the area.

Welcome to the site neighbor!  Sounds like you've got some great experience under your belt.

Im not sure if Edgewood has "parts" ...  :dunno:

But I would say Im on the East Side... off of 122nd.
I work in Federal Way, so the commute is pretty easy.

Right now I shoot in my yard. I have a nice little 60 yd range back there so it makes it easy to sling a few arrows after a long day in the office!

I only have one right now. I'm thinking about getting into a 3D target... ?

Yep my commute is just about a stop light further down the road. Which is sweet (for now)! I'm sure once the "powers that be" find out my commute is so short I'll be transfered to a new place :)

Iam not into bow hunting as for having bad elbows but fishing I can do all day. I am a modern firearm hunter. Located in federal way when you want to fish let me know I am always game for fishing. I work mon-fri off at 5 for the most part. normally 4:15 but 5 a some days.
