I also forgot to mention that on our way home we had a bear alongside the road. about 75 yards away. We were heading towards Yakima from Goldendale. Nice size bear. when we saw it we didn't have a place to pull off so we went down the road to turn around but by the time we got to where he was he was gone. First bear I have seen on that stretch but my buddy has seen 2 so far.

Drano is still on fire!!!  here are some cell pics from the last 2 days. Also this morning when I pulled my front anchor i found this huge treble hook someone was snagging fish with last night. was the size of the bottom of a soda can. I limited both days on steel-head. saw alot of kings caught today out in the Columbia.  My uncle and his limit on the first day.  5 keepers on day one between 3 of us. and two of my biggest fish. And the last one is the treble hook that was on my anchor rope.

Drano has hornets on the beach and lots of dead fish ..filleted off and then tossed in the lake....saw plenty jumping and leaping and one even breached and hit my damn bobber....but I still have zero zip nada for fish.....oh and drano has all sorts of wooden platforms for dipnetting or something.....I was there yesterday evening....
the only thing on fire was how bloody hot it was....

 :dunno: :dunno:

oh underwood also still no fish caught...and all I managed to get on the sandbar at the mouth of the klick was heat exhaustion oh and hit on by an old dude  :dunno:

I got checked for all safety stuff in the boat last night by a cop while at the dock. He said they can only use those on Wed.  They are everywhere along the west side of the lake. They are still building more.  :yike:   Kinda weird how close to the bank they are putting them. Doesn't seem like many fish are cruising the sides like that. They are using big 4-5 foot round nets from what I saw.  :dunno:

yep we were on what is called social security beach there are 2 platforms on the beach there and a huge line of them on the buoy dead line ...I see the neighbor down here has a huge net its easily 4 foot if not bigger....I was impressed with the mess at the beach had no idea you could simply fillet on the beach and toss your carcasses back...looked like only the best parts of the fillet as well all the belly meat was still on them and there were piles in the lake along with a few whole dead fish.....
