Brush pile is probably the one. We stopped there to get something to drink and I wanted to change into a dry shirt. Nicely hidden by the way.

I have a piece of him.  I with you luck D-Rock, somebody should get this guy.  (Not that much luck though... I wouldn't mind seeing him during rifle season!)

Either way, I'm not giving this piece back!

Photos don't really show it that well, but it is by FAR the thickest and generally largest blacktail antler I have ever seen.  Found it shed hunting this year.

You have to leave the ear. If he didn't it wouldn't be Droopy now would it.

I sure would love to run into a buck like this. I would probably have a heart attack before i got a shot off though!

Even from 200 yards and the naked eye this is an impressive buck, trust me.

VERY nice buck!   :yike:  and a cool mount if you can bring him home. A couple of years ago, I shot a buck and a huge chunk of his left ear was gone......about half the width and about half the length of the top of the ear. Nice 4x5 Muley though.

Well, he is still alive D-Rock. He made it through another season.  I think he is starting to revert though. It's hard to tell from the pictures but I think he is a 4x2. But still heavy and wide.

He lives. Better get him harvested before he starts regressing.
