I take quite a few bear in this state with the rifle too.  Just feels good once in a while to sit on top of the mountain and whack-em from a distance.  Plus, our berry bowl is getting so over grown you really got to get up high to get a clear shot.  Just rebuilt an old A-Bolt 7mm that's driving tacks.  Just might need to get some blood on it this weekend.

Sorry if I'm getting too mean.  Marriage had that effect on me.  Blame the Hoyt shooting squaw!!!

Not too mean, RadSav.   :chuckle:

My buddy has been carrying a rifle and I take my bow.  If we can't figure out how to get to it with the bow he's just going to shoot it.  Works for me.

Nice thing about the Eberlestock.  It's too damn heavy, but the rifle is always right there if I decide to make the long boom stick poke on a blackie, yote or bobbie.

Sounds like anyone who wants a recommendation for a great prositute or needs help tracking a wounded animal needs to have bloodhounds phone number on speed dial. :chuckle:

WSUCowboy - What's with the duck?  You transfering to Oregon or is there a story behind that critter?

What happened to this thread?  Everyone must be mad or just doing a little research on where my house is.  Just to warn you Hoyt guys - I sleep with a light sleeping squaw and she's a pistol packing crazy woman!

Only if your not her husband  ;)  Took about 15 years of marraige before I slept with both eyes closed.  We keep the S&W on my side of the bed at night - just in case I do something in my sleep she could take offense to!  50% Creek/50% Irish - scalp you first and then blow you up.  Now I've scared myself - no longer worried about those Hoyt guys.  Just PMS :o

That darn Hoyt shooting squaw just updated my resume'

Current = Jack Ass  :yike:
2007-2010 = Bear shooting Arse Hole  :tung:
1989-2006 = Hoyt Dork  :o
1980-1988 = Slutty tramp chaser and bear killing machine  :chuckle:

I think the S&W and all kitchen knives are going to spend the night in the safe with a new combo!  :tup:

I shoot a mathews and would never shoot anything else. I believe 100% that if you shot a mathews you would stick with it.
