And for Bowhunter45 the first shot was through both shoulders and I have no idea how he managed to make it three hundred yards with busted shoulders and a bad liver.

adrenaline & the fact that he is a bear probably helped the most.
~  ~One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like "hey, there's an *censored*."”

Be come one with Nature......... Then Marinade it.

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.

7mm nosler accubonds 140 grain surprised me as well especially once we opened him up. He made it so far I'm guessing because the hill he went down was so steep. It was a hands and knees show coming up if that says anything

Glad you got him!  Can't believe he went 300 yards with both shoulders blown out!

Good to here u found it. Sounds like the bullet did it's job well, I shot a boar with my .338win right in the heart and it ran like nothing happened, I hit it a second time center if the chest and ended it. Bears are tough and I think a lot of people get lucky to drop them in there tracks.
