« on: August 21, 2011, 09:44:10 AM »
hey guy's i am gonna be "That" guy and ask for your honey hole and never post again i swear :chuckle: but really as i said in my muzzleloader trophy's thread that this will be my second year muzzy hunting for deer and maybe my first year hunting for elk in any fashion. my granpa in-law invited me to go with him but he's probably not gonna go this year. he usaully hunts out of shelton somewhere but i have no clue where to start or if i should even bother with that area? Feel free to pm me. not a trophy hunter just want some meat for the freezer.

IMO, I would only hunt for Elk near Shelton if I had a reason to, as in knowledge of local herd, private access, or other compelling reason.
Much better hunting as you head west, southwest, south, etc...
If I was a ML'er I would invite you, but    :dunno:

Thanks for the advice. I have no access to private land nor any other compelling reason other than thats the general area
