handgun rifle idea
« on: August 29, 2011, 04:26:55 PM »
My dad and i were talking about how cool it would be for Smith & Wesson to take their x frame revolver the 460/500 and add a 16 or 18 in bbl and a butt stock. I was thinking they could use something like the pro hunter stock from an Encore? If Taurus/Rossi  :puke: can do a similar thing with the circuit judge or whatever they call it Smith should be able to do something a lot better. If they made it would you buy it?

I would pass. I don't care for the revolving cylinder rifle idea. There's a reason it never really caught on.

I just can't stop thinking of all the sand bags I've cut through with the blast coming out the front of a cylinder. I certainly wouldn't want that to be my arm!

I just saw a revolving rifle....I think it was at High Mountain Hunting Supplies in Wenatchee.  I am not 100% sure but I thought it was a 454 casual.  I will look next time I'm in there.
