Well, I killed a bear with my 270 short mag last weekend.  First time out with that rifle.  I was shooting factory 150 grain noslers.  Smoked that bear!  I was more than impressed... :)

I  am keeping it live men  :chuckle: got killer cloud cover today and I have the next 4 days off So you betcha azz I will be in hot pursuit ...the only thing that could screw me up will be fog ...but I am planting my butt at my honey hole tomorrow morning and do not plan on leaving till I see a bear rolling down the hill  :chuckle: :yeah: hopefully I can put my money where my mouth is  :chuckle: :chuckle: :tung:

WELL... All I done today was stare at the damn fog for 5 hours ... praying it would lift but never did ... thats the only down fall on the westside come September But I seen one hell of alot of bandtailed pigeons which in the last few years I only seen a few...but I seen the mother load today !!! hopefully they start coming back as they were once before !!!! All and I will be back at it tomorrow and there are sheet loads of blueberries now and still alot of green ones so I figure I have all month to bag one up ... :tup:

I hear yuh man that fog can really suck...especially when you hike 5 miles up a steep grade only to see fog for the whole day, done that a few times  :chuckle: Im sure ull get it done you still have plenty of time

o.k I am ending this one as best as I can O.K.. after today I have hunting my azz off in the last 3 times I went .. I mean covered every freakin area I Know to kill a bear ...I seriously do not know what to tell ya except I never hunted this hard and have not ever killed a bear ...I hike in a long ways this morning and I saw a few blueberries in this area but most of them were still green  :dunno: I guess I might need to hunt the river once the humpies start dieing but I sure in the h#ll am not eating it  :bdid:  DOG FOOD  :chuckle: :yeah: hERE IS SOME OF THE PICTURES I TOOK TODAY ....Bear country or not ?

Here is my tree stand I built in 1992 and it is still standing  :chuckle:  and there was bear sheet underneath it but a few weeks old ...The blueberries that surround it are still green !

Yeah thats what I am saying....after today hiking around I got the fever going on now .. And the smell of the fall air is just something a hunter can explain ...I love fall the best and I guess no one nows why  :chuckle: :chuckle: :tup:  ? are you feeling better Mulehunter ?
