I am hoping to soon. Someone has been messing with one of my traps so I set a cam on it. I think I now know who it is and the local warden and land owner will get a pic if I catch him. Feels like a " turf war".

Well I just go robbed again this morning, the thief got all the gas out of my pickup for the second time in two weeks,
the first time in 35 years that I been robbed, and it happened twice in two weeks, one week before Christmas someone broke into my shop and stole my two best chain saws valued at 1500.00 and siphoned the gas out of my pick up, I installed my game camera positioned facing my shop and this morning the thief's were back, this time all they got was my gas and another gas cap, a man can only take so much, I work hard for my money being self employed for over 30 years cant take hits like this and stand by and not protect my property and my families well being, tonight I'm staying up late to catch who ever is wreaking havoc on my personal property and business assets, if anyone recognizes these folks send me a pm.

I wish I did. Did you give these to the SO?

You would think so, it almost looks like a girl or a teenager, they left a small pair of gloves behind

I had a deputy come out and took pictures of the tracks in the snow, same mo as last time they walked in from the main road at 3:45 am, if only my little dog could stand the cold he would eat em alive, I forwarded the pics. to him later in the day and he said he would send em out to all agency's in the area, we have been getting hit hard in the upper county and its not getting any better, the SO is just reacting to one burglary after another and the people that they do catch don't get any real punishment, the punks are wreaking havoc.

I think we can figure out why so many trail cameras get stolen.  They don't get placed to far off the beaten path.   :bdid:

No doubt.

danderson, I feel terrible for you.  Hope you catch those guys.  I suppose you could always leave a gallon of gas spiked with sugar sitting around that someone might steal. :chuckle:

We have the same problem here, lost lots of gas in my kids 2 trucks, my bear hunting buddies gas tank on camper emptied, he caught him in the act thief ran off. He'll the same thief is hitting two LE in the area, now that takes kahunas! And we all have two pretty good ideas who is doing it, just that their MO is early morning when working people are sound asleep. I have put locking caps on all our vehicles, and leave nothing of value out, so for now they have left us alone.  LOCK UP NOW PEOPLE BEFORE YOU GET HIT, locking gas caps are way cheaper than a full tank of gas!  :bash:  :bash:

The locking gas cap that I just purchased after the first time they got me disappeared to, I just shoved a rag into the filler tube this time, cost another 20.00 bucks to replace so I'm thinking I will hold off until they get caught, I like the idea of spiking the gas with sugar, does that really work ?

It will if they are dumb enough to fill their tank with it....but we are talking about thieves of course.

I thought about spiking gas, but if they figure out you did it hey might try to get pay back on you.  :twocents:

Try a gallon of water and two of gas. The gas will float on top of the water. Put in a 5 gal can and accidently leave out, then look for a broke down car.
