I've tried........Apparently I failed the CSI test.  LOL

This is in the NE Area if someone recognizes the logo on the badge or hat?  Or possibly the people.

It would be a good spot.....

Surveyors of some kind? One guy has a few hundred foot tape and the other has paperwork for plot lines?
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

That's what I think too.  Probably surveyors.

Is the date & time correct?

If so, was there a property sold or one up for sale about that time or after?

Maybe laying out or identifying property lines?
It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

Date and time are correct. We purchased 9 months earlier but no other properties for sale around me.  I originally thought surveyors for the timber company but the never made it to that property.  Almost as if the finally saw a camera and turned around immediately.  They were there less than two minutes going in and out.  This is in the middle is a 50 acre piece.

Wouldn’t surveyors still need permission to be on your property ?

If they were surveying and easement through your property I am not sure if they would need your permission.  I do know that I just had an easement surveyed through a neighbors property that said I didn't have access on their 12' wide driveway.  Survey did call them in advance and say that he would be marking the 60' wide easement  :yike: through their property to mine.  Bulldozer and gravel trucks are on the way to make it a little more accessible for me.  :chuckle: Just kidding.

Not sure if he called in advance to let them warm up to the idea he was coming or if it was required.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Here are a couple guys I cought on my property.  Not sure what they are up too but they didn't stay long.  There is easement through my property for the timber company beyond it......but where they are and how long they were there means they never made it to the timber company land.  Weird....but haven't seen them since.

If I had to guess, they're about to build a road through there.

I believe the tape measure is to see just how far they got lost.
I'm not sure.
