Great story, great buck, and I found the photo's very informative in that they demonstrate that there is no such thing as too rugged or (seemingly) barren. They also show how bucks use topography/shadows to stay hidden in an otherwise relatively open landscape. Good work and you set the bar pretty high.

Your camera should have a setting in the menu to turn off all sounds. You should look.

Great hunt and recap bone, I can't image hunting in that heat over there. I went out for a few hours this morning on this side of the mountians and it was too warm for me by 9am.
