Range time
« on: September 13, 2011, 03:07:36 PM »
Taking my wife out for some much needed time behind the Muzzy. This will be her first year hunting. She has about six rounds under her belt with the in-line but that's not enough. First time ever shooting it she drilled a milk jug dead center at 70yds. Then she couldn't hit a damn thing after that  :chuckle:.  All the smoke and flame from the first shot made her a little jerky on the trigger. I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction when she draws down on her first buck. There is nothing in the world that compares to that feeling and I can't wait to share that with her.

Looking forward to a great 2011 Muzzy season. Good luck to you all!

Gotta get out myself.  I tried to do it 95 deg heat and after a few shots that was enough for me.

Work hard-Play hard!

That's why I haven't been out the heat is miserable. This weekend is supposed to be in the mid 70's and that I can handle.

No kidding- It's been really hot every time I went out for the last month. I had to though because we were getting my daughter used to it and I switched to a new bullet this year. $200 in bullets later we're.... almost.... ready. A few more shots for her this weekend- to practice reloading from her possibles bag and speed loaders.  :bfg:
