Cracker also means a new or inexperienced fisherman.
he was the cracker.
fishing cracker is what you call that person that just experienced that loud cracking of line when snagged up on a rock, log or unintentional long line releasing of a fish with hook and gear still stuck in its face. lol
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.

I can't believe it took that many posts for someone to point that out! That was my first thought, it's what we always say when one someone does something dumb (including myself) is that they just "crackered" that fish off like it was their first day on the water!

I guess I would have asked.....does that pertain to the sterotypicality of my socioeconomic superiority, or are you professing to be a poor fisherman?

cracker is a silly name.  however its intended.

they should call it nigging.  cause nigging and rigging rhyme.
then you could say........"Hey man.......your nigging my rigging...you damn cracker!!!!!"

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
