If you get a blakie that scores over 90 its a good buck in anyones book. my biggest was shot with a riffle it scores 84 and hes a pretty good 3x4
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

I believe it's 90" for Columbian but I'm not sure if that applies to Cascade or Western blacktail, Bow4elk and Boneaddict would probably know.

Boone & Crocket only have one category for blacktail deer. It's the state record book that splits them up into separate categories.

Boone & Crockett is 125 for the awards book and 135 for the all time book.  As Bobcat stated, B & C  recognizes Columbian's and Sitka's as blacktails.

Yeah, I guess I mis-stated that. I should have said they only have one category for Columbian blacktails.

I think they look like this.  This 4x5 with dual eyeguards was shot by my hunting partner last year with MF.  He hasn't got him scored yet, he's at the taxi.

Yeah, It's funny, I shot my Archery Blackie out of his front yard (the one in my sig) last year and I was PROUD!  Then he comes home with this beast...no wonder he let me shoot that little deer.  Too bad he didn't find us some Big Rosie's like that last year.

Yeah, ATC, that is what they look like.  Definately a book caliber buck from what can be seen, assuming the G-2 that can't be seen is similar to the right and there are'nt a lot of unseen deductions.  That is an awesome Blacktail regardless of the score...
