Quest and Elite Archery
« on: September 18, 2011, 08:54:31 PM »
Just checking in to see what Hunting-Washington.com forum members think about the products from Quest and Eilte Archery? I am in the market for a new bow and do not want to break the bank. I am into way too many expensive hobbies but I do want to get a great bow for the money I spend. Thank you in advance for any help you can lend.

Erik

Of the two, my vote would be Elite.  Personally, I though the Elite (Judge) felt much better.   Also, really liked the grip.  The Quest Primal I shot one time was just 'ok' and felt that a good dampening stabilizer was a must.  It felt like a tuning fork in my hand.

...but you should really get an Athens.  ;)  Anyway, there's my  :twocents:

Thanks for the reply and $.02. I currently shoot a later 90's model Hoyt Excel and I look forward to trying out a newer rig.

Thanks again.

I have a g5 primal and love it.  It's a smooth draw, very fast and quiet. So far so good

Elite without a doubt.  Go to Wilderness Archery and see Roger, he has some there for you to try out.

I can get a smoking deal on a Quest so I am leaning that way. I appreciate the input however.
