Peaches Bull Down!
« on: September 20, 2011, 10:43:33 PM »
Second day of the hunt, we've been in many, many bulls the last two days, probably worked 20+ bulls in the two days.  This evenings hunt started just like yesterday, driving up to the top of the hill to start looking around. The first bull that bugled, I called him in across a logging unit about 300 yards.  He came walking right in to about 25 yards where Rocky anchored him with his .338.  It was an awsome hunt and he nailed a great bull.

Awesome bull!

Sounds like my kind of Hunt... shoot a big bull at 25 yds.  Not to far from the truck....  Only in my dreams.... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :bash:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

It was great Klickriver....the guys said they have been hearing bugling in their dreams after hearing so many bulls screaming at them that close...lol  We dropped down into one little basin chasin a big herd bull and when we got to the bottom we were within 100 yards for 6 big bulls all screaming at each other, it was awsome.  Wish I had some Oct. 1st clients, the bulls are gonna be going nuts then too.

was this the peaches ridge tag where they only issue one? if so it is a great bull because every bull is a great one, but that one needs to be a little bit larger if you are the only one hunting those units with a rifle
