If that thing came in to me I think I'd end up sending an arrow clacking off its antlers...

He is on my huntaholics facebook and i contacted his wife.
i found a ton more photos and i am asking him/her if i can share them.
it was in idaho.
Broadmouth Canyon Ranch is where it was shot out of their spike camp. Thing is a beast, but most that come off there are.

Thanks for the post igotbigbulls, even though it's probably a high fence elk I still like looking at photos of big elk.

"Founded in 1989 by lifetime hunter and former NFL All-Pro Rulon Jones, Broadmouth Canyon Ranch originally offered free range hunts on 25,000 acres of exclusively private ground in the rugged Rocky Mountains of northern Utah for Mule Deer, Elk and Shiras moose.  Wanting to offer more, we created a 5,000-acre elk hunting preserve while still maintaining a very fair chase feeling. I love the third picture...It's a big bull, no doubt about it.  So I don't see reason to sit 10 yards away to take the picture

Just curious, but is that this year?? Cause I know that the antlers have to "age" for (don't quote me) 30 days to be considered for b&c. Just wondering

What a cool bull! I love the last pic where the hunter is sitting about 80 feet behind it in the pic :chuckle:
