Place to buy birds in the puget sound?
« on: September 16, 2011, 08:22:00 AM »
My dad is on his way home from SD.  He just picked up his pup from the trainer and he's looking for places to work birds by put and take.  Is there anywhere near the PS to buy birds?  When can you start training dogs on state land with birds that you put down?  Thanks in advance.

I forget his name but the guy in the bow department at the Federal Way WholeSale sports raises and sells birds... Mostly Pheasant, I think.

Hope that helps.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

That would be Larry and he no longer works there. He is at the new Sportsmans Wharehouse in Puyallup now

I am in the same boat, I have a 10 month old lab, I need to get on birds and I no longer have access for a pigeon traping.  If you can forward any info, that would be great.

Thanks,

I'd also like to hook up with a local (south sound preferably) bird seller. Hoping to do a little tuning this weekend as I can't get over to the dry side.

Thanks!
