My BinL brought his spitfire out to WA for our winter hunt and we did well with it his came with the stock sounds and we called dog in on a bunch of sound.  I've been using a minaska bandit for years andliked the remote better but it cost a lot more.  One thing that I think is it is more the distress in the sound than the sound itself that triggers a response from coyotes.

If you order your foxpro from allpredatorcalls.com they will custom load your foxpro with any sounds off the foxpro list, my regular partner did that.  That way you end up with a good selection of pure predator callsand none of the other stuff you might never use.

Since they added the foxbang an two presets thothe mid priced call I bought a scorpions to use as a backup or change of sound to my minaska.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

I have only used a Foxpro caller from the Fury to my newest The Firestorm. I have taken doggs year round with them and can't say enough great things about them. Just my .02

I've got a Scorpion and like it.  Ordered it with the sounds of my choice.  To be honest, I have yet to kill a coyote period, but I get lots of answers both with my RR Calls, and the Foxpro.  The one call I seem to get the most results with on the Foxpro is the call named "Coyote Group Yip-Howls"  If there are coyotes in the vicinity, it seems like they can't help but answer back!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Man this is becoming a common thing is'nt it ? good write up BearPaw....and yes most hound hunters I know care very much about there dogs and have alot of money invested in them not counting how much money it takes to feed them .....I guess time to treat the wolf as the big bad wolf he is ....!!
