You left out my choice.
 :dunno:

I have been dreaming about getting one of those!

There's 2 of them in the classifieds right now.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I have hunted almost exclusively with bolt guns. I have spent a little time with an old Remington 740 autloader in .30-06, but mostly My Remington 721 in .270 and my Howa '06.

I was recently given my grandpa's Winchester Model 64 in .32 Special and would like to take a deer with it someday. It was his dad's and I would be the fourth generation to hunt with it. Perhaps if I draw a doe tag next year I will use it.

I hunted as a boy with my fathers .32 Winchester Special. What a fun lever action rifle.

:yeah: Except that LB will be using a 7mm rem mag, A-bolt with a muzzle BRAKE.
It's nice having a deer already in the freezer... :)
My nephew will be using a model 88 winchester .308 to tag his deer that i get to play guide for.. ;)
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Thank God we don't have to pick just one.  I celebrate diversity of arms.
Such is life in the West and the further West the more the such.
